Sustainable Landscaping: Subscription Based — No pesticides, No Fertilisers, only Good Stuff
You Pick I Brand is a weekly design dare where my audience chooses the brief. Every Thursday, I run polls on social media asking people to vote on a niche business and three personality traits. By Monday, I deliver a full visual identity built from those choices. The series is playful, but it’s also purposeful. It lets me share how a brand identity takes shape — from personality and concept to final design — while building a portfolio of work rooted in real-world prompts. And honestly? The unhinged creative freedom experience has been a lot of fun!
This fictitious brand was designed as more than a service — it’s a community. Built on a subscription model, Club keeps gardens thriving year-round with sustainable, pesticide-free care, while also hosting a monthly Garden Club: a free gathering where locals share knowledge, swap seeds, and pass on practices rooted in Indigenous and ancient gardening traditions. The creative challenge was building an identity that looked as nurturing and natural as its philosophy. Sustainability here isn’t just an aesthetic choice — it runs through the ethics and practices of the business, from rejecting harmful fertilisers to embracing seasonal cycles. The visual direction brought this to life with a warm, earthy palette inspired by nature, rounded organic typography, and hand-drawn illustrations of gardening tools — subtle nods to the trade without leaning on cliché. The result is a brand identity that feels rooted, approachable, and alive — walking the talk of sustainable gardening.

Fun Fact
Most Gardening businesses tend to have very similar logos, bright green in colours with with lawn mowers or trees illustrated — I still used utensils in the brand image, but in a fun and abstract way
